October is "Bullying Prevention Awareness Month"

The month of October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month.  October is observed by schools and organizations across the country to encourage communities to work together to increase awareness on the impact of bullying on children.

On Monday, October 7th, everyone is encouraged to wear a blue shirt for "World Day for Bullying Prevention" to help stop bullying and cyberbullying.
